What is Akedra?
Akedra is a live world map of startups. Any founder can claim a country for free, their logo rules it and every click on the country goes to their site. Anyone can take the country by paying more.
How much does it cost?
Open land is free to claim. Taking a country someone already holds costs $5 the first time, then at least 1.5× the last bid. You pay once through Stripe. There is no subscription and no account.
What do I get for a country?
Your logo and colour on that country on the map, a link that every click on the country follows, a permanent line in its war history, and a page for your startup on akedra.com.
What happens when someone takes my country?
You get an email. There is no refund when you are outbid. If two people pay for the same country at the same moment, the later payment is refunded in full.
What is a campaign?
Up to 15 countries in one checkout, each at its current minimum. Open land costs $5 inside a campaign.
What does conquering the world mean?
One payment takes every country at once, Antarctica and the eight ocean fleets included. The world costs $1,000 right now and doubles after each buyer.
What are the faded logos?
Startups we added from public information so the map is not empty. They are unclaimed, they are not customers, and anyone can take their country.
Do I need an account?
No. A free claim asks for an email so we can tell you when someone takes your country. Paid bids use the email from Stripe checkout.
How do I fix a mistake or remove something?
